Starting September 1, 2024, he will join the Business School's Finance Department. Previously an Associate Professor at EDHEC Business School in France, Georg holds a PhD from Jena University and has extensive research experience with institutions like Deutsche Bundesbank.

The FSBC was founded by Philipp Sandner and focuses on blockchain technology impacts. It also covers crypto-assets, digital securities, CBDCs, asset tokenization, DeFi, and NFTs.
