Genius Group Acquires Bitcoin Learning Platform, XD Academy
The Manila Times reports that Genius Group Limited (NYSE American: GNS), a prominent AI-powered education company with a focus on Bitcoin, has successfully acquired the renowned Bitcoin and Blockchain learning platform, XD Academy. Originally launched as BitMEX Academy for the cryptocurrency exchange BitMEX, XD Academy was later spun off into an independent entity under the leadership of its founder and CEO, Lawrence Linker.
This acquisition allows Genius Group to integrate XD Academy's comprehensive courses into their existing educational offerings. Notable courses include "The Economics of Bitcoin" by Saifedean Ammous—author of the best-selling book "The Bitcoin Standard," which is available in 37 languages—and "Building your Investment Thesis" by Arthur Hayes, co-founder and former CEO of BitMEX. This strategic move comes at a time when interest in cryptocurrency education is surging globally.
