Lufthansa and Deutsche Telekom launch DePIN blockchain nodes

According to Cointelegraph Deutschland, Lufthansa and Deutsche Telekom have launched blockchain nodes in the Peaq network. This marks a significant step towards introducing decentralized physical infrastructure networks (DePINs) into enterprises. These networks are gaining popularity in Web3 for connecting the physical world with new decentralized technologies.

The launch of the Peaq network is expected around September 23rd, involving key node operators like Lufthansa Innovation Hub, Bertelsmann Investments, and Technische Universität München. The companies not only operate nodes but also serve as pilot firms for the Enterprise Adoption Program of the network.
